On October 30, Officers responded to assist with a theft investigation from a business on the 100 Block of Colma Boulevard. Loss Prevention reported that two suspects, who were later identified as Steven Bearce and Christen Christensen, had selected approximately $500.00 worth of store merchandise and exited the store without paying. CPD Officers quickly arrived on the scene and attempted to detain Bearce and Christensen, who fled on foot after being ordered to stop. A foot pursuit was initiated, which resulted in both suspects being apprehended by CPD Officers. Bearce and Christensen were transported to the county jail and booked for resisting arrest, conspiracy to commit a crime, and petty theft.
On October 31, CPD Officers responded to a business located in the Metro Mall on the report of two suspects detained by Loss Prevention for stealing. CPD Officers arrived on the scene and contacted Keyarra Tooks Dilworth and Zyaira Chisholm. Both suspects provided CPD Officers with a false name in attempt to conceal their true identity. CPD Officers were able to confirm their true identity and were placed under arrest for conspiracy to commit a crime, shoplifting, misappropriation of lost property, and giving a false identification to a police officer. Dillworth and Chisholm were issued a citation for the offenses mentioned, which they signed, and were released from the scene.

On November 1, a theft occurred at a business located inside the Metro Mall. Loss Prevention provided a description of the suspect vehicle as it was fleeing the Metro Mall. CPD Officers located the vehicle on Junipero Serra Boulevard and San Pedro Road. This is an ongoing investigation in an attempt to locate the vehicle and suspect who committed the theft.
