Though the Town of Colma does not have its own public library, residents are fortunate to have access to excellent nearby resources:

Daly City Public Libraries

The Serramonte Main Library, located just minutes away in Daly City, offers a wide selection of books, multimedia, and community programs. There are three other branches as well.

San Mateo County Libraries

San Mateo County Libraries are incomparable destinations for learning and growth. Each of their thirteen libraries is part of a larger family offering worlds of discovery and technological opportunities. More than 65 percent of the service population have library cards, and more than 2.2 million people visit in person annually.

Daly City Public Library Associates

Additionally, the Town supports Daly City Public Library Associates (DCPLA). This non-profit raises private funds to supplement public funding of the Daly City libraries through developing community, civic and business support for fundraising, advocacy, and innovative programs.
