New Electric Vehicle Charging Stations at Colma Community Center
Four new Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations (Level 2) have been installed at the Colma Community Center and are available for public use. These new EV charging stations will assist the Town in reducing greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) from the transportation sector, which is the largest GHG emitting sector. Electricity in Colma is GHG free thanks to our participation in Peninsula Clean Energy (PCE). Colma’s Climate Action Plan 2030 requires Colma to reduce greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) by 40% for 2030.
The Town installed the new EV charging stations with grants from Peninsula Clean Energy (PCE) and from the San Mateo County Measure K fund. For more information contact Colma’s Sustainability Manager at kathleeng@csgengr.com.
