November 5, 2024 Elections
A municipal election will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, to elect City Council Members for three (3) four-year seats. A person is eligible to hold office of Council Member, provided the person is, at the time nomination papers are issued, a registered vote of the Town of Colma. Elected officials must continue to reside in the Town during their term of office.
The nomination period opens at 8:00 a.m. on July 15, 2024. Nomination papers must be submitted to the office of the City Clerk, at the Colma Town Hall 1198 El Camino Real before 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 9, 2024. If one of the incumbents does not file, the closing date for filing nomination papers will be extended to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. It is the obligation of each candidate to meet all filing requirements and deadlines.

The last day to register to vote for the November 5, 2024 Election is October 21, 2024. Voter registration cards are available at Town Hall, Colma Community Center, and Sterling Park Community Center or you can register online at Online Voter Registration | California Secretary of State.
